HOW DOES THE SCANNING PROCESS WORK?
It’s simple. After an order is received, we will send an email to the address on file with instructions and a link to our proprietary application. Then you'll use your iPhone's Face ID camera to scan your ears. We'll do the rest! Your earphones will arrive at your doorstep custom shaped to the inside of the ear, making for a flawless fit and cutting-edge aesthetic.
WAVS Custom Earphones work with all devices—but you'll need to use an iPhone with Face ID for your fitting. It only takes a couple of minutes, and if you do not personally have an iPhone you can also use a friend!
Thermo-Fit = Molds to Body Heat = PERFECT FIT AND SEAL
If you do not have access to an iPhone, no problem! We can send you an at home mold kit for just $15. If this is required, please reach out to our customer service team with your order number and we will provide an invoice!

How long will it take to receive my WAVS after ordering?
After we receive your ear scans or molds, estimated wait time is 4-6 weeks to hand-make your custom-fitted In-Ear Monitors. In most cases we are able to deliver in less than this timeframe, however it cannot be guaranteed without a rush order as queue length varies. Once your order ships out, you will receive a shipping confirmation email to the address on file with tracking information.
How do I get fitted for WAVS? How does it work?
Our fitting process can be completely digital—no molds, no mess, no visit to the audiologist! Instead, our Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitor is made using 3D scans collected at home using your iPhone. Once you order WAVS Custom-Fit IEMs, we will email you instructions to use our scanning app on your phone. The WAVS Custom: 3D Scanner is currently available on any iPhone or iPad equipped with Apple's FaceID technology. We also offer a Traditional-Fit IEM for those who wish to use audiologist's molds. If you do get Traditional IEMS, please be sure to use a "bite block" while getting impressions done, to ensure a good seal!
I don’t have a compatible iPhone to use the scanning app. What do I do?
Our technology is brand new—so not all phone models are compatible just yet. If you don’t have a compatible iPhone, there’s a good chance you know someone that does. You are welcome to use a friend's device to collect the scans, it should take less than 5 minutes!
And if you don't know anyone that will let you use their iPhone—no worries! We can send you an at-home mold kit for just $15. WAVS are available for everyone!
What if I receive my WAVS and they don’t fit?
Our patented 3D scanning technology is incredibly accurate, and we’ll be there to coach you through the 3D scanning process. However, we do provide a 30 day fit-guarantee, and will revise & re-make the product up to 2 times if there are issues with your fit. If you are having fitment issues with your set of WAVS, please let us know through the Contact function and we will work with you to find a solution!
Is there a product warranty?
WAVS come with a 90-day technical warranty. If there’s a problem with your device or accessories, let us know through the Contact function and we’d be happy to make it right!
Please note accidental damage or loss of the product is not covered under the technical warranty.
What are the earphones made of?
The earbuds are made with a durable photopolymer resin. It’s a strong material with a gloss finish that’s smooth to the touch.
What is the return policy for WAVS?
We do not offer returns or refunds for custom-made products. We do provide a 30 day fit-guarantee, and will revise & re-make the product up to 2 times if there are issues with your fit.
Orders may not be cancelled once they have been processed. If there is a mistake in the details of your order, please let our team know as soon as possible through the Contact function before the order goes into production.

Is there a microphone? Can you use WAVS for making calls?
Yes and yes. Both of of our Bluetooth attachment options feature microphones and are great for use on calls / video conferences.
